Basi Azul showcases his creative abilities on his new self- produced single “Interlude” off his upcoming debut project ‘Butterflies and Spikes’ which portrays his personality of being this approachable, happy, free, chill, beautiful character with an edgy, exciting, moody contrast. When speaking on the inspiration behind the record Basi tells us: “I wrote Azul Interlude as I was reflecting on my nightly moves, which were tequila and psychedelics induced as soon as I left the west side and arrived downtown. In the song I'm talking to someone I love, explaining to them that even though I'm getting lit when I leave to go downtown as the sunsets, I haven't given up on us.” Basi Azul
