City Fidelia is an Ottawa based artist with deep ties to his community. Not only is he a program director at Ottawa's 89.1 FM, he is also the Co-founder of professional development program FRMULA and a rapper with millions of plays across DSPs. This project marks his fourth to date, and will be his most concise yet. PAINKILL3R is about the need for a release by any means, even if temporary. Pain is something he recognizes and confronts, head on throughout this album. From street politics, to relationships & heartbreak, family, addiction and anxiety he goes through the motions of using various coping mechanisms, mostly unhealthy via drugs, alcohol, and weed. But the most evident is the therapeutic nature of unleashing it all on wax.
